Founder’s Story

It All Started with One Dog.

And the refusal to walk away.

The Beginning

Every organization has a moment of origin — a turning point when someone says, “Enough is enough.”

For the founder of PAW Foundation, that moment came while witnessing a stray dog suffering on the street, ignored by hundreds. That helpless look — and the silence that surrounded it — became the reason to act.

What began as a one-person rescue effort quickly grew into a mission: to ensure no animal in Bangladesh is left to suffer without help.

Building the Foundation

Creating a rescue network, convincing vets to treat strays, organizing volunteers, educating the public — none of it was easy. But driven by a powerful sense of purpose, the founder built PAW Foundation brick by brick.

From late-night rescues and street-side treatments to petitioning lawmakers and standing in court for justice, every step was taken with one goal: to give animals the love, care, and protection they deserve.

Milestones Along the Way

Year 1: Rescued over 50 injured strays using personal savings

Year 2: Established first official rescue shelter in Dhaka

Year 3: Launched legal advocacy and partnered with clinics

Year 4: Introduced mass vaccination programs across the city
Year 5: Grew to a full team, multiple districts, and national campaigns

Words from the Founder

“This isn’t just an organization. It’s a promise. A promise that no animal will be invisible again. That their pain will not be ignored. And that love, even from a stranger, can rewrite their story.”
