Free Vaccination for Street Dogs
We arrange free vaccination campaign to save street dogs from fatal viral diseases. The Rabies vaccine campaign is also necessary to establish dogs in the community. Our volunteers talk to the people to train them about the safe and humane behavior to the street dogs.
Press Conferences
Protesting Dhaka South City Corporation’s (DSCC) move to relocate stray dogs from the capital; animal welfare and environmental organizations organized a press conference on Thursday.
Obhoyaronno – Bangladesh Animal Welfare Foundation, People for Animal Welfare (PAW) Foundation, Bangladesh Environmental Lawyers Association, Rabies in Asia Foundation, Stella Animal Welfare Foundation, and Care for Paws jointly organized the meeting at the capital.
Relief for the flood affected animals
People for Animal Welfare (PAW) Foundation has taken initiative to come to the aid of flood affected domestic animals in Chilmari upazila of Kurigram.
We have distributed food for around 350 domestic animals owned by hundreds of families of the Master-para area near Dushmara police station in Chilmari. The next day, around 105 families received relief for their domestic animals at Chilmari port area, according to a press release.
With the help of a Veterinarian, Dr Abdul Hye, also, a Kurigram district livestock official, PAW foundation volunteers held emergency medical camps on the spot, and treated 35 sick cattle, and 19 sick goats.
World Animal Day Campaign
People for Animal Welfare Foundation, another animal rights group, yesterday organised a human chain in front of Jatiya press Club, demanding formulation of a guideline to protect rights of the workhorses until the “inhumane” practice can be banned, finding rehabilitation for the horses and alternate livelihood of families involved in the profession.

To save stray dogs on Dhaka streets, People for Animal Welfare Foundation (PAW Foundation) organized an awareness campaign protesting the initiative through murals on roadside walls.
